Arisan Rindu

It's already April! I'm gonna share about what kind of surroundings I live in, and one of them is my Arisan community. Arisan memang famous banget ya di negeri ini hahaha karena adanya ya cuma disini and I think it is such an epic activity to gather with our friends, family, and other people in our life. It's not about the money actually, but it's just one topic that we can have in Arisan. Kan lumayan juga ya pas lagi butuh uang terus dapet di Arisan yeay! dan ini ampuh banget buat mengumpulkan teman-teman karena emang kurang afdol kalau kita cuma titip alias transfer aja yekan?

Ah, btw, we made this Arisan since last year in 2014 because at that time, some friends had graduated and we were afraid of breaking up our friendship. Yes, we all are from the same major and univ as well and there were 7 joined in the first session and now we are in the second session with a new member, so we are total of 8 lucky creatures hahaha.

Life time achievement unlocked! Yeay… I finally got my bachelor degree last year. August 2014 was written as my top 10 best day ever. A double-combo celebration was held at that time.  Something I want to talk a lot is not the celebration itself but my outfit. My mom was the one who had the biggest voice of what I wore. LOL :D

We had a small talk, like, what design, what color, what fabric, etc. Honestly I had saved an outline of it on my mind yet unexpectedly, mom had the same big picture.

For the design, I just thought a simple peplum kebaya because I was not fond of a very conventional kebaya style though actually it was so classy. Having designed the top, I also combined it with a simple songket skirt to make me slimmer. Karena kebaya peplum saat itu sedang saya gemari, maka saya memutuskan untuk

menggunakan model kebaya itu agar terkesan simple dan tidak terlalu ‘berat’. Apalagi setelah wisuda bisa dipakai untuk kondangan juga hahaha…

Mom told me to choose a rare color for the top and she said black will be fine. It was such an unusual color that I couldn’t agree more since I also thought so too. Well, I combined it with gold-colored songket skirt to make it pop out. Black outfits never go wrong, just put the light of pop color or something shimmering like gold or silver.
